Frankie’s example of living a quality life in a dog cart is a wonderful lesson for children (and adults). It helps them understand how they can look for blessings in every challenge they have. It also teaches children compassion towards physically handicapped people and animals.
Barbara and Frankie prefer small classrooms of no more than 75 children, but are open to discussion for what may best fit your school or library. Barbara suggests a 30- minute presentation for grades K-2 and a 45-minute presentation for grades 3-5. Currently we offer one or two presentations (prefer back-to-back for two) twice a week. So be sure to get into our schedule as soon as possible. Upon your scheduled author visit Barbara will provide you with a letter of agreement, bio’s of author and Frankie, and a copy of “Frankie, the Walk ‘N Roll Dog” book markers to use as you wish.
